Join us for photos with Santa and his helper Donkeys Jaques and Ole!

We will have coffee, hot coco and holiday vegan sweets available. Our gift store will be open for animal lover holiday gifts including adoption kits for our most famous residents!

Directions:

Follow San Juan Dr to the very south (right) end.
Just before you come to the dead end of the road there is a roundabout.
Right before then, you’ll see our green gate and our sign on the side of the road.
Come on in and find a parking spot (turquoise hearts mark them).
From there you’ll walk towards the (back) of the barn.

Visiting

We are now closed for the visiting season. We hope to see you in May of 2026!

About our Sanctuary

Heaven on Earth provides a loving final stop for farmed animals who are ready to retire and for rescue animals who need a safe home. Click right for more --->
We are located in the middle of 27 acres with majestic Cedar and Douglas fir trees, surrounded by the Salish Sea of the Pacific Northwest. Painting by Andy Pham. --->
Three ponds provide fresh water and lots of swimming opportunities for our feathered friends. -->
Custom sized shelters in each pasture provide warmth, protection from the elements, safety, and room to snuggle. -->
The sanctuary is designed to keep our residents safe, comfortable, well fed, and really happy. -->
Giant Cedar and Douglas Fir trees surround the animals, providing shade and clean air. -->
Our sanctuary team is always on the lookout for situations that need creative and sometimes quick solutions. -->
Meal time is twice a day for all residents. -->
Everyone helps in daily cleanup. -->
The "middle pond" is a favorite afternoon bathing spot. -->
Creative play structures for those who still have energy. -->
We honor routines for all animals, including things like bowl colors and exact feeding spots. -->

Guided Animal Tours

Get to know our sanctuary residents up close with an experiential learning opportunity while feeding, brushing or chatting with our residents as they allow.

Please email us if you have a group visiting the island off-season and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Open Visiting

Guests are welcome to visit with the animals through the fences, relax on the pathways and wooded grounds.

Animal Yoga

Join our certified yoga instructor Mandy and her donkey, geese, cow, llama, goat and chicken helpers, as we practice go-with-the-flow yoga in the different animal pastures.

Sanctuary Store

Visit our cute little store anytime the sanctuary is open. Great gifts of our merch and local artists featured.
We also have an online store with lots merchandise options.
Kids Camps

Please look for 2026 summer camp dates and sign-up through our partner, Island Rec of San Juan Island.
Equine Program
