Feeding the Animals
Our current feed and supplies budget is about $6,000 per month. This includes grain for each type of animal, three kinds of hay, straw, bedding, fresh produce, supplements, peanuts and other treats. 💕
Sanctuary Operations
Our operating budget runs about $30,000 each month for animal caretaker and facilities salaries, utilities, gravel, fencing upkeep, equipment rentals, gas, and general maintenance costs. 💘
Veterinary Care
Our veterinarian team visit the sanctuary monthly for heard wellness checks, hoof trims, supplements, medicine, and are on call for emergencies. Costs with minor emergencies and urgent care average $7,000 per month. 💗
