Animal Caretaking
Our caretaking budget runs about $26,000 each month for animal caretaker and facilities salaries, grain for each type of animal, three kinds of hay, straw, bedding, fresh produce, supplements, and of course treats. 💕
Sanctuary Operations
Our operations costs average $10,000 per month, and includes running the equipment to keep all of our pastures clean and safe. Utilities, gravel, fencing upkeep, repairs, equipment rentals, and general maintenance costs. 💘
Veterinary Care
Our veterinarian team visit the sanctuary monthly for heard wellness checks, hoof trims, supplements, medicine, and are on call for emergencies. Costs with minor emergencies and urgent care average $7,000 per month. 💗
