Abby passed away peacefully in his pasture on a warm July summer morning, with his flock and caretakers nearby. His long life of 15 years saw him overcome severe neglect and after being rescued and rehabilitated by Pasado's Safe Haven, he arrived at Heaven on Earth Animal Retirement Sanctuary in the spring of 2023. 

Abner was a favorite with all visitors and was the first to come and get his chin rubbed and his bum scratched, always wagging his tail. He will join his fellow flock mates in our memorial garden for all to visit and reflect on the many ways he has enriched our lives.
